International Travel Trade Show – WTM London 2018
Registration is now open for WTM London 2018. Held at London’s ExCel, this is the leading global B2B event for travel professionals, and this year’s promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet.
To be held between Monday 5th November and Wednesday 7th November, the 2018 event is
to adopt a regional focus. Each of the event’s geographical regions – UKI & International, Europe, Middle East & Africa, America and Asia - will have its own Inspiration Zone, where attendees can learn more about a region’s cultures and identities, as well as the various issues and challenges it currently faces. Organisers hope that the Inspiration Zones will also stimulate regionally-focussed networking opportunities.
A particular highlight of this year’s event is likely to be the inaugural International Travel & Tourism Awards. To be held in the inspiring surroundings of the Grade 1 listed Tobacco Dock, the awards aim to recognise and celebrate the very best practices in the travel industry. For the first time, this year’s WTM London also includes the travel and hospitality tech event, Travel Forward. Together, the two events are set to play host to over 175 sessions involving more than 500 senior industry leaders. 50,000 delegates from 182 countries and regions are expected to attend and, collectively, to conduct business likely to exceed last year’s record of £3.1 billion.
